The Morningstar Car Boot Sale Story

The Morningstar Car Boot Sale began as a humble fundraising effort for Christmas 2025, facing difficult weather conditions during its first event. Despite the challenges, it grew from 10 vendors to over 20, fostering community support and engagement. Continuing with intention, it aims to build something sustainable and meaningful.

Finding Creativity with FIND

This morning’s coffee and creative networking event, hosted by Diane Lindemann and Fiona Fitzpatrick, was a warm and welcoming space for women entrepreneurs. Held at My Sweet Art Cafe, attendees enjoyed painting despite initial hesitations. The experience fostered unexpected joy, connection, and a reminder of the benefits of stepping outside one’s comfort zone.

A Wellness Event: Mindful Mornings

In Cape Town, small wellness events provide opportunities for community learning and self-care. Recently, I attended the Mindful Morning event hosted by BalanceWorks and The Wellness Sister, focusing on movement, cardiovascular health, and self-care. Participants engaged in accessible exercises and received skincare kits, fostering a relaxed and informative atmosphere.
