About Us

Cuppa Daisies is guided by Michelle Longman, also known as The Eclectic VA.

With nearly four decades of experience in administration, coordination, communication, and community-based work, and a background spanning finance, training, events, retail, hospitality, and the non-profit sector, Michelle ensures that clients can trust in a strong focus on making everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

Her professional journey began in formal administration and executive support roles, where attention to detail, structure, and reliability were essential. This foundation earned her recognition as the 1998 National Secretary of the Year. She has delivered presentations, written training manuals, conducted workshops, and provided on-site PA coaching.

She has also led event coordination, content creation, stakeholder communication, and community engagement, working alongside business owners, coaches, executive leaders, corporate teams, and community members.

Michelle provides support, organisation, and practical administrative skills while always ensuring effective communication and people-centred problem-solving.

Michelle has proven expertise in building communities that matter, including:

  • Founding T1-Together (2013–2019), a support network for families affected by Type 1 diabetes (her son was diagnosed at age 7).
  • Fundraising initiatives for the local Plot Watch (2018–2019), including organising markets, dances, themed community events, and raffles.
  • Co-founding, co-ordinating, and co-hosting The Women’s Networking Breakfasts (2005–2008) in the Pinelands and Rondebosch areas.
  • Founding, co-ordinating, and hosting The Networking Daisies (2021–2023) in the Blouberg and Melkbosstrand areas.

Through Cuppa Daisies, Michelle continues to support women in business and community initiatives with the same blend of care, professionalism, and commitment that has defined her career.
