We may be little compared with many of Cape Town’s bigger markets, and that’s exactly how we like it.

We’re personal, friendly, relaxed and people focused. There’s no getting lost in a sea of thousands of people and no need to rush from one stall to the next thinking you might miss something. Take your time, have a proper look, stop, and chat to a vendor, meet someone you haven’t seen before or simply wander around beneath the trees and enjoy the morning.

We don’t want to be the biggest market in Cape Town; we want to be small – that place where people can slow down for a few hours and enjoy the simple pleasure of browsing, buying, chatting, and discovering.

Yes, technically, we’re a market, but really, we’re a good old-fashioned Car Boot Sale!

And that’s what makes us different. It’s the rummaging, the unexpected finds, the treasures you didn’t know you were looking for and the goodies packed into the back of a car. It’s that wonderful feeling of finding something you weren’t looking for at all and suddenly deciding that you absolutely cannot live without it. You know the one: “I wasn’t looking for this, but now I need it!” moment.

Every stall is different because every seller is different. Some people are selling things they no longer need. Others are collectors, makers, bakers, growers, or artists. Some are small businesses building something from the ground up, while others are simply giving a market a try for the first time.
