Last week, we launched a fundraising campaign with Back a Buddy due to a significant financial betrayal resulting in a loss of over R1 million. The overwhelming community support from various connections has been uplifting. While we’re working to meet daily needs, urgent medical expenses add to our recovery challenges. This week, a seemingly joyful birthday celebration turned intense as the author experienced racing heart symptoms tied to PSVT. An eventual hospital visit led to a heart restart procedure, leaving the author feeling vulnerable and exhausted. This experience highlighted the importance of self-care and the ongoing journey of managing health.
